First produced in January 2009, this presentation aims to summarise the latest intelligence related to current economic conditions in the Hull and Humber Ports City Region using information collected by the HEP Executive’s Policy and Research Team on an ongoing basis.
It contains a combination of official statistics – from Office for National Statistics; data compiled by Yorkshire Futures; and information contained in recent reports or consultations. This is analysed and supported with local intelligence obtained through media sources and company statements. Analysis compares the latest information with equivalent data for twelve months previous and change over the previous few months.
The work aims to act as a resource for both the HEP Executive and the wider HEP partnership, to inform decisions and work in relation to and affected by the most recent changes in economic conditions.
It is envisaged that a new presentation will be produced every two months.
