Employment Law - Protecting your Business
Safeguard your business from expensive legal claims
Employment Law is a notorious minefield for employers. Many employees fall into categories which are protected against discrimination and victimisation. Awards for such claims are uncapped. In addition there has just been a major reform of unfair dismissal and grievance law.
In this workshop, presented by a Partner from hlw Commercial Lawyers, you will be shown how to avoid these expensive pitfalls. You will be brought up to date on recent developments in discrimination, dismissal and grievance handling. The new ACAS Code of Practice and redundancy will be covered and there will also be ample opportunity for individual questions during and after the event.
The presenters will be Joan Pettingill and Barry Warne of hlw Commercial Lawyers, based in Leeds and Sheffield. Both are experienced speakers and Employment Tribunal advocates.
